A three-day oil painting workshop in a private studio, teaching classical techniques like alla prima and sight-size method. All materials and lunch provided; no experience required.
Please join us for an immersive 3 day Oil painting workshop, hosted in the private studio of Sharon Okun and Adam Markovic in the quaint village of Queenston, Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Friday September 25th- 27th. 10am -5 pm.
Sharon and Adam will introduce you to the techniques they learned during their Classical training in Florence, Italy. With a limited palette of just 4 colours you will learn the ‘alla prima’ technique along with the ‘sight size method’ while painting directly from life with their experienced guidance. Paint a still life, a portrait from a live model or an interior scene.
NO PREVIOUS PAINTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. There is limited space so reserve your place at the easel!
We will be hosting these workshops monthly into the Fall and Winter season.
